Established in 1973, the mission of the Famille Michaud Apiculteurs laboratory is to analyze and select honeys. In this field, it is the only lab in the world which was awarded the COFRAC certification. This demanding international standard bears witness to the lab’s scientific and technical skills. Every year, our lab performs about 100.000 analyses, meaning that it selects and controls honey from about 1 million hives.

— Preserving the nutritional and taste properties of honey
Famille Michaud Apiculteurs has a real know-how in filtering honey to remove all the foreign bodies while preserving its properties. The company developed its own manufacturing and filtering processes. From the moment it is filtered until it is poured into jars, the temperature of honey never exceeds this of the hive (35°C or 95°F), to make sure the nutritional properties of honey are preserved.
